FastMenu is a program that permits you to create a Windows application from a menu you design. Your menu can launch
documents and start applications, open folders, sub-menus, go to Internet sites and send emails. It provides the
ability for anyone to swiftly create Autorun menus for CDs and will display a well presented menu with a graphic
header of your choice followed by a column of buttons. Users can create simple or complex menu systems with the
option of sub-menus; sound effects for menu events; commandline arguments and viewer installation. Once you have
created your menu you can create autorun EXE, a standard Windows application, that will launch when your disc is
inserted into the CD drive. FastMenu has Menu Editor that permits you to create and edit your menu directly, but also provides the Menu Wizard for assistance with menu creation. The Menu Editor interface comprises a preview of your menu in the center of the screen and a column of tool palettes on the left to edit the properties of your menu. With FastMenu you can create your Autorun Application and turn your menu into a Windows application by saving your menu. Then click Create autorun EXE on the File menu that will create two files, your menu application and a file named AUTORUN.INF. You can copy both of these files to the base of your disc (that they are not contained in any folders) and you are done. FastMenu includes tool palettes that can be minimized and restored to show their contents by clicking the small arrow/triangle in the upper right corner of each tool palette's title bar. You can add your menu title, a graphic and the resulting menu is built in real time.
