eAutoRun is a program designed to assist CD authors in the process of making the files required to autostart
(autorun) a HTML file. It is a single executable file and is placed in with the other files ready to copy to CD. This exe file is then run, which brings up a setup screen. The required HTML filename is typed in and when OK is
clicked, the program produces the required autorun.inf file and a special eautorun.html file which has the filename of the HTML file which you wish to launch. When the finished CD is placed in the drive the autorun.inf file will cause the eautorun.exe file to run. The eautorun.exe finds the required files and then launches the required HTML file for you. If you find that the HTML filename (launch) is wrong, there are three ways to fix this. eAutoRun has included option to produce the files to autostart a HTML file or the new option to produce the autorun.inf file which is all that required to launch an executable file on a CD. You can select an icon file to handle that will be displayed as the CD icon. Once this autorun.inf file has been produced the eAutorun.exe is no longer required to be copied to the CD.
One of the way is to edit the eautorun.html file changing the second line. Then you can delete the autorun.inf file
and run eautorun.exe again that will reproduce the files with the new HTML filename. After deleting the autorun.inf you can run eautorun.exe and right click in the splash screen. The setup screen will appear and permit you to enter a new HTML filename. This will overwrite the files for you.
