Vector Eye Basic is the raster to vector converter you need and converts bmp, jpg, tiff, png into editable vector files like: svg, ps, epg and Flash or Xaml for Windows Vista. All you have to do is select an image, scan any sketch, make some bitmap adjustments (scale, select zone, enhance, swap colors, rotate) and Vector Eye will automatically create multiple file corresponding to different settings. You can save it in the appropriate format for your purpose and drop into your favorite vector editor or authoring utility to finish or animate your design. With Vector Eye Basic you can use the batch system to launch hundreds of vectorization processes. You can use the mosaic function to see all the tests and selecting an image will display the specific set of parameters used to generate it in the Advanced tab.
Vector Eye Basic has a new vectorization algorithm for line detection and a new GUI interface. A vector image must be "manageable" in your vector editor (it's impossible to work with thousands of vectors). You can use the second tab (templates) and select jocker (it's my best set of parameter) and if you want to store a set of parameters for a batch process or for re-use, select the little disk at the bottom of the param window (yellow color for an automatic save of the current parameters, red color if you want to store your file in a special directory, with a special name). Vector Eye Basic has a flash export and a xaml export for Windows Vista.
