DB Zipper is a database program that processes table data and table structures from any database into a compressed
database archive file (*.dbz). It can distribute any database on a corporate intranet, the Web, e-mail or CD-ROM and works like the regular compression applications for files but instead of files DB Zipper works with database tables. DB Zipper can move your database from A to B and compresses tables as a .dbz file (DB Zipper file). It is a simple backup and restore solution. The program can simplify database deployment. DB Zipper has native connections for multiple database: PostgreSQL, MS Access, InterBase, Firebird, Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server and can unpack tables to multiple databases. It moves your database tables from A to B (deploying databases) and has an easy to handle interface. DB Zipper has storage of complete table structure (columns, primary key constraint, check constraints, unique constraints, indexes). It has multiple extract actions like: Always create new table, Append: Append data to existing table, Refill: Empty table and insert data, Overwrite: Drop table, create new table and insert data.
